Hello everybody, hope you’re having an amazing day today. Today, we’re going to make a special dish, pui dal. It is one of my favorites. For mine, I will make it a bit unique. This will be really delicious.

Wash pui shak and dal; and keep aside. Add chopped onion,chopped garlic and green chili. When onion and garlic become soft add turmeric powder, cumin powder, ginger paste and salt.

Pui Dal is one of the most favored of recent trending foods in the world. It’s easy, it is fast, it tastes delicious. It’s appreciated by millions daily. Pui Dal is something that I’ve loved my entire life. They are nice and they look fantastic.

To begin with this particular recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can cook pui dal using 15 ingredients and 4 steps. Here is how you can achieve it.

The ingredients needed to make Pui Dal:
  1. Take 1 cup Malabar spinach
  2. Take 1 cup Yellow Lentils
  3. Take 1/2 tsp Ginger-Garlic Paste
  4. Prepare 1/2 tsp Asafetida
  5. Get 1 Tomato
  6. Prepare 1 Green Chilli
  7. Get 1/2 tsp Cumin Seeds
  8. Get 1/2 tsp Mustard Seeds
  9. Get 1/2 tsp Fenugreek Seeds
  10. Get 1 tsp Turmeric Powder
  11. Get 1 tsp Red Chilli Powder
  12. Take 1 tsp Lemon Juice
  13. Make ready 1 tbsp Oil
  14. Get to taste Salt
  15. Prepare as needed Water

It is authentic bengali cuisine and It's a very simple process to make. I am now open to thinking beyond Kosha mangsho and Cholar Dal. This year you are going to get mostly the unconventional Bengali recipes from my end. I am going to write more about Chorchori, Shorshori, Ghonto, Chenchki, etc.

Steps to make Pui Dal:
  1. Wash the Lentils, and soak for 20 min. Now take in cooker add turmeric powder, chopped green chilli, salt, asafetida. Cook for 3-4 whistle.
  2. Chopped the leaves. Heat oil in a pan. Now add Cumin Seeds, Mustard Seeds, Fenugreek Seeds. As these splatter, add pui leaves. Cook 3-4 min at low flame.
  3. Now add ginger garlic paste. Mix well. Cook for while, add chopped tomato. Cook till tomato become soft. Add remaining spices. Mix well
  4. Add cooked Lentils, mix well. Cook it for 3-4 min. Now add lemon juice. Mix it. Our dal is ready to serve
