- Take 100 gms gourd
- Get 100 gms pumpkin
- Take 1/2 cup yellow lentil

Steps to make Idli Sambhar:
- I made instant idli from the packet available in the market.
- For sambhar, wash the lentil. Cut the veggies. To a pressure cooker add 1/2 tomato, daal and veggies. Add a pinch of turmeric and ghee.
- Pressure cook it. Then whisk it well.
- Make a paste of remaining tomato and green chillies. And all the spices to it and mix it well. To a pan add oil. Add asafoetida, cumin, mustard, red chilli and curry leaves. Stir fry it. Add the paste the stir fry it. Add water if required else add sambhar. Boil it. And it's ready.
Moreover, idlis are steamed and sambar contains very little. Mini Sambar Idli, mini idlis floating in sambar as served in Tamil Nadu. Sanna(s), a Goan variant of idli a.k.a. Muday idli is a Mangalorean variant of idli. Rave idli (Sooji idli) is a specialty of Karnataka.
