- Dry roast the Dal. Wash them thoroughly after that. Put the Dal in pressure cooker. Add water as much needed.Add the chopped ginger slice and salt and 1/2 tsp turmeric powder. Cook for 1 whistle.
- Now put oil in pan. Add the cauliflower florets. Add 1 tsp Garam masala powder and salt and fry them till the florets become golden. Set aside
- Now temper the same oil with 1 tsp Cumin seeds. Put 1/2 cup chopped tomato. Cook till tomatoes become mushy.
- Add the fried cauliflower florets. Pour the Dal. Add 1/2 tsp turmeric powder and salt to taste. Cook for few minutes in high flame.
- Transfer to a plate and serve.
