Instructions to make Vanilla cream filled doughnuts:
- In a large mixing bowl combine 1 cup of flour,egg,milk,yeast,vanilla, butter,sugar and whisk well until smooth. Cover with a plastic wrap and let rest at room temperature for 10mins,or until some bubbles form on the surface.
- Add the remaining 1 cup of flour. Knead the dough until it's no longer sticking to the side of d bowl(if it's sticking then dust with a little flour and knead again). Knead in the bowl for abt 5mins. The dough should be smooth and soft.
- When you are done kneading the dough,cover d bowl with plastic wrap and let it rise in a warm place for 1hr until it double its size.
- Dust work surface with flour, turn the dough out on the floured surface dust top with flour and then roll it.
- Use a circle cutter/object and cut it. Transfer into tray,place in a warm place and let it rise for 30-45mins.
- Fry in hot oil at low heat.
- Place a pan on fire,pour milk in d pan. Add sugar,vanilla and mix. Keep stirring
- Mix corn flour and egg yolk in a bowl n add milk. Whisk well
- Add the mixed cornflour in the pan and keep stirring until u have a thick mixture… vanilla cream is ready.
- Take d doughnut, use a small knife n cut it deep slit.Roll d doughnut in a bowl of sugar n cinnamon.
- Fill pipping bag with vanilla cream.then slowly fill each doughnut with d cream.
To Fill the Doughnuts: Doughnuts will already be coated in Vanilla Sugar before they're filled with Chocolate Pastry Cream. Serve immediately or cover doughnuts for later serving. These doughnuts are best served the day they are made. The closer a food is to the top edge of the map, the more likely it is to fill you up with fewer calories.
