- Prepare 1 tbsp tomato paste

- Take 1 tbsp flour

- Once the dish is nearly ready, add the onions back into the oven for 20-25mins or until the onions are crispy.
- Once the beef is ready, remove it from the dish and put to one side to rest. The place the dish on a high heat to further reduce any liquid.

Place in a baking dish and cover with buttermilk and soak for at least an hour. Combine dry ingredients and set aside. Grab a handful of onions, throw into the flour mixture, tap to shake off excess, and PLUNGE into hot oil. Fry for a few minutes and remove as soon as golden brown.
