In a stand mixer, combine the bread mix with the chia and flax mixture, activated yeast mixture, and the teaspoon of apple cider vinegar and mix on medium for three minutes. In a large mixing bowl, place the ground almonds, coconut flour, baking powder, salt, psyllium husks and chia seeds. This flaxseed bread (linseed bread) is dense, soft, and moist.

- Mix the dry ingredients and then add butter and mix till combined
- Gradually add water to the flour mixture (you might not need to use all of the water) until a soft dough is formed
- Knead dough by hand or in a mixer until dough is soft and pliable
- Coat the dough with the vegetable oil, cover with a damp cloth and allow to rise until it doubles in size
- Remove dough and shape it into an oval shape. Allow to rise for another 30-45 minutes (allowing the dough to rise again makes the bread softer)
- Pre-heat oven at 180 degrees (Celsius) and using brush the milk over the bread before baking for 45-50 minutes, or until top is golden brown
- Allow to cool on a cooling rack before slicing and serving.
It's free or any grains and pseudo-grains. In fact, the only ingredient in this flaxseed bread are ground flaxseeds (linseed). So, it's a great low-carb alternative to your regular bread. You can serve this bread as is, but it also makes for a fabulous toast. Honey Wheat Bread With Chia and Flax.
