- Boil your yam until its cooked thoroughly
- In a pan,add vegetable oil,garlic and saute(you can grill in a mini oven)
- Put in your boiled yam,add seasoning and spices
- Turn to the other side, until both sides are golden brown
- Serve with any sauce of your choice
Lay the sweet potatoes out in a single layer on a roasting tray. Drizzle the oil, honey, cinnamon, salt and pepper over the potatoes. Yams are done when the flesh has pulled away from the skin and a knife goes in very easily. The skin will look somewhat charred, but the yams will not taste burned. Turn off oven and let yams sit.
