  4. Drain your cooked pasta and add to your sauce along with your meatballs. Mix together to coat everything in your sauce. Top with the cheeses and set im the oven for 20 mins until golden brown on top.

Remove the meatballs from the oven. Add the sugar to the tomato mixture and season with salt and pepper. Remove and discard the thyme sprigs. Arrange the meatballs over the tomato mixture in the pan.
