It didn't sound so good to me and never thought of trying it until my kids demanded for it during their holidays. I tried it a few times and arrived at this recipe which yielded me really creamy thick and delicious pasta kheer made with Jaggery.

- Get 1/2 cup whole wheat pasta, boiled al dente

Steps to make Pasta Kheer:
- Heat fresh milk and bring it to a boil. Add the evaporated milk, dry fruits, boiled pasta and sugar to taste.
- Simmer on low flame til it thickens or you get the desired consistency.
- When done, add the cardamom powder and rose water and stir. Garnish with chopped nuts and saffron. Serve at room temperature or chilled.
This dish will be loved by your friends and family. You can use any kind of pasta, from linguini, to farfalle to spaghetti - the only thing you need to keep in. So far whenever, I've made kheer for Devansh I have avoided using sugar. Heck, I even make caramel custard for him using jaggery. But this time I was in a dilemma, and couldn't decide whether to use sugar or jaggery till the very end.
