- Coat the fish evenly in the flour and carefully drop into the hot oil as you go along.
- Fry for 4-5 minutes on each side.
- Dab with kitchen roll to absorb some of the oil.
- Optional: sprinkle with the fish with the lemon juice, serve with mayonnaise.
- Serve almost immediately. It's great as a starter.
