Methi chhole is one of the most popular of recent trending foods in the world. It is appreciated by millions every day. It’s easy, it’s quick, it tastes yummy. Methi chhole is something which I’ve loved my entire life. They are nice and they look wonderful.

To begin with this recipe, we must prepare a few ingredients. You can have methi chhole using 16 ingredients and 11 steps. Here is how you can achieve that.

The ingredients needed to make Methi chhole:
  1. Take 1 cup Chhole(chickpeas)
  2. Take 1 bunch Methi (fenugreek leaves)plucked cleaned washed
  3. Take 2 Onion chopped finely
  4. Get 1 inch Ginger grated
  5. Prepare 6-7 Garlic pods grated
  6. Prepare 2 Tomatoes pureed
  7. Take 1 tsp Cumin seeds/Jeera
  8. Prepare 2 Dry red chilli
  9. Take 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  10. Get 1 tsp Red chilli powder
  11. Prepare 1 tsp Cumin powder
  12. Make ready 1 tsp Coriander powder
  13. Take 1/2 tsp Garam masala powder
  14. Take 1 tsp Amchoor (dry mango)powder
  15. Get to taste Salt
  16. Make ready 2 tbsp Oil

Chana Masala or chhole masala is an easy and incredibly tasty chickpeas and potato curry. Once the pressure is released, open the cooker and add garam masala and kasuri methi (if using). Soak the Everest Kasuri Methi in boiling water with a pinch of salt. And then blend it into a wide variety of dishes for the delectable aroma of pure Kasuri Methi.

Steps to make Methi chhole:
  1. Soak chhole overnight. Pressure cook with salt and enough water till done. - Keep aside.
  2. Pluck, clean and chop the methi leaves.
  3. Heat oil in a kadhai/pan. Add cumin seeds and dry red chillies.
  4. When splutter add the grated ginger and garlic. - Saute till raw aroma goes.
  5. Add chopped onions and cook until onion becomes light pink. - Now add chopped methi leaves and mix well.
  6. Saute 3-4mins and then add the tomato puree. - Add all the dry masalas except amchur powder.
  7. Cook till the mixture becomes dry. Around 5-6mins. - Now add the boiled chickpeas along with the water in which it was boiled.
  8. Mix and cook on low flame for 4-5mins. - Add amchur powder and salt.
  9. Adjust water consistency according to your need. - You can mash a few chickpeas to get a good consistency of the gravy.
  10. Simmer for few mins and switch off when required gravy consistency reached.
  11. Serve with rice, roti or paratha.

Kasuri methi can be prepared by drying the fennel leaves under the sun or in the shades. Dry roast all the ingredients separately. Soak BAPS Amrut Kasuri methi in boiled water with a pinch of salt. Add Kasuri methi to Vegetables and Dal to enhance flavour and taste. BAPS Kasuri Methi can be mixed with flour to make tasty.
